PPW #60 PREVIEW
Our big 6-0 is right around the corner and three big match ups have already been announced!
***PPW World Heavyweight Championship Match***
"The Persian Powerhouse" Milad Akbar (c) vs. Scott Colton
Going into PPW #59, the Premier Planet was abuzz with anticipation for the latest matchup in what has become quite a series between Academy standouts Scott Colton and Max Cruz which was set to take place with a special 60 minute time limit! Shortly before PPW #59 kicked off, however, Premier's board of directors made not one, but two big decisions that completely changed the landscape of the match and set the bar ben higher for the competitors. Not only would the match take place with the special time limit, it would also now be a 2-out-of-3 falls match AND the winner would be granted the #1 contendership for the PPW World Heavyweight Championship, getting his shot in the main event at PPW #60! With the score in the match tied at one fall apiece, Scott Colton took advantage of a split second opening and was able to score the second fall, making him not just the winner of the match, but the new #1 contender for the World Title! Colton now goes on to the biggest match of his life to date at PPW #60 when he looks to dethrone the seemingly unstoppable Milad Akbar who retained the title in a hard fought battle against "Irish" Andy Anderson at PPW #59.
***REMATCH***
- Chase Gosling vs. Iniestra -
Woodstock's own Iniestra will attempt to gain a measure of retribution after losing twice in a row to Chase Gosling when he faces the self-proclaimed "Pope of pretty," "Sultan of swag," and "Rabbi of ravishing." Having been a standout at the Premier Academy, Iniestra is hungry and looking to make his mark on the world of professional wrestling and requested this rematch with Chase to prove himself not only to his trainers and the Premier Planet, but perhaps to himself as well.
- Will da Beast vs. "Outlaw" Jay Kross -
After being jumped from behind and called out by Premier Academy trainee Will da Beast at PPW #59, "Outlaw" Jay Kross wants revenge, but he'll have to break his way through the 385 lb. newcomer in order to get it.
****RANDOM FANDOM CHALLENGE***
Random Fandom puts the power in YOUR hands to call the shots on the taping. Fans will decide by drawing names who gets to compete in a triple threat match! The remaining participants will compete in non-title single matches.
